Moments from Kathryn's Book Reception for "Last Dance at the Savoy" at the Women's Club of Hollywood

Here are some wonderful moments captured at Kathryn's book reception for Last Dance at the Savoy held last Saturday at the historic and recently rebuilt Women's Club of Hollywood. Friends, associates and club members came by to hear Kathryn read and to talk the book and Geoff. The book's publication coincides with the upcoming fifth anniversary of Geoff's passing.

With UCLA neurologist Yvette Bordelon, MD, PhD, who wrote the foreword for Last Dance at the Savoy. She works with CurePSP Foundation.

With the legendary jazz pianist Corky Hale (above), and with both Corky and her equally legendary husband, songwriter Mike Stoller (below). [NB: The piano above belonged to Charlie Chaplin, who donated it to the Women's Club of Hollywood.]

And deep appreciation and thanks to the people of Women's Club of Hollywood who were the most gracious hosts ever. Their helpfulness and enthusiasm ensured a successful event. Left to right are Leigh Scott (what are the odds of meeting someone with 2/3 of Kathryn's name?), Rosemary Lord (Historian and Coordinating Director) and JoJo. Warmest gratitude to the three of you for your help!
