Kathryn Leigh Scott is an accomplished actress and author. Writing and acting have always been twin careers, each informing the other. 

An American Academy of Dramatic Arts graduate, Kathryn landed the ingénue lead in the classic Gothic daytime drama Dark Shadows (ABC, 1966-1971), and starred in the 1971 MGM feature, House of Dark Shadows.  With skills ranging from drama to farce, she can be seen alongside Sir Patrick Stewart on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Leslie Nielson on Police Squad, launching the hugely successful Naked Gun franchise.  

In the world of publishing, Kathryn launched Pomegranate Press, Ltd.  As a writer of non-fiction, her histories of Dark Shadows and the Playboy Clubs have sold over 165,000 copies.

Recent books include the mystery/thriller, Jinxed and her memoir, Last Dance at the Savoy.

Currently, she appears in the recurring role as George Segal’s girlfriend Miriam in The Goldbergs, one of TV Guide's Top Twenty "Best Shows of the Year."  Kathryn joined the Marvel Universe as The Baroness in the 2015 mid-season opening episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
